The building was converted from the original bakery and further farm buildings to provide luxury holiday accommodation for up to four people.
The property is accessed via its own private entrance at the front.
There is a private patio and garden featuring a large covered outside cooking area, comprising of tiled worktops, BBQ, sink with cold mains water, power and light.
There is also a large undercover dining area and separate seating area for outside entertaining with power and lighting for guests to sit out.

Lounge/ dining area
Large feature fireplace with 3 metre oak beam, 16 KW GODIN French log burner, 3 large windows to communal garden and pool area. Dining area for up to 6 people.
Throughout there are feature beams, cream painted traditional plaster walls and ceilings and flagstone floors.
Kitchen
Custom fitted units, handmade Provençal tiles to all worktops and surround.
Fitted stainless steel electric oven, gas hob, Farmhouse white ceramic sink, washing machine and dishwasher.

Master bedroom
The master bedroom is a stunning large room with original chestnut ‘A’ frame timbered roof, king-sized bed, high ceiling, handmade furniture, flagstone floors.
Two large windows lets the light flood in.
Bathroom
The bathroom is often referred to as 'the' feature of the ‘gite’. Although completely new, it has been styled around the detail from the Pigeonnier.
There is a high ceiling with concealed lighting and lime washed and exposed timber, offset the Italian marble tiles - the shower itself is a complete ‘wet area’ accessed via steps.
The reproduction Victorian shower delivers a refreshing jet via a large head. The fittings, WC and wash basin are a high quality white Spanish repro Victoriana.
Two windows are fitted with open Louvre timber shutter to provide privacy, when required.
Bedroom 2
Another stunning room featuring exposed roof timbers, all treated and finished in their natural colour (dark brown) painted walls and ceiling, large window to patio area, featuring stone sink, twin beds.
Second toilet room
Off the hall is a very convenient washroom comprising of repro – WC and basin in custom made vanity unit, original woodwork and glazed tiles to Dado height finishes throughout.
Flooring
Reproduction high quality flagstone floors, sealed and hand wax polished. The floor (total 83 m2 ) is stunning and has, since laying, been used by the manufacturer in their brochure. (only the bathroom varies with ‘Italian’ marble floor to match the walls.)
Ceiling
All ceilings are new plaster and plaster board, all have been insulated with 200 mm thick felting and plastic membrane. Woodwork is mainly reclaimed and original, all has been treated for insect attack (very rare in ‘chestnut’ and the reason it was used as well as it ease of supply.)
Pool area
Approach to the pool area is through a locked gate, the whole area is fenced in to comply with French swimming pool legislation. The pool is, in addition, equipped with the alarm system.
The pool dimensions are 10m x 5m fresh water with Roman steps leading into 1 metre depth, the deepest end is just under 2 metres.
The pool house has been built using re-claimed materials and is styled on a small pigeonnier and houses all of the pool filter and pump equipment.
The approach end is equipped with solar heated hot and cold shower.
The pool is complete with winter and summer covers and all cleaning equipment and has been maintained and cleaned on a daily basis and is to be found in excellent condition - the Hayward pump was replaced with new in 2008.
Landscaping to the pool is paved with an additional grass area too - mature ‘polarded’ Catalpas trees providing necessary shade area during hot weather and there are numerous decorative evergreen shrub for screening.
A stone built sundial feature compliments the pleasant surroundings.
